To all our members, staff and greater community of the Heatons Sports Club
As you may now be aware the Club is planning to open its outside bar function to members and guests at 12 pm, Sunday 5th July.
This is part of our phased approach to re-opening certain facilities whilst adhering to both government and the relevant sports governing bodies’ guidelines and best practice procedures that they have laid down. We will continue to introduce and expand Club and sports usage when safe and guided to do so.
You will also have noticed the guidelines we must adhere to are, at first glance perhaps somewhat lengthy, but we have a responsibility to protect our staff and our members (as well as act within the law!), so I would ask you to please to read and follow these new practices so we can carry on and seamlessly extend our operating procedures.
The Club opening the outside bar has taken an awful lot of thought and planning and I would like to thank Phil Yeomans, Chairman of Bar and Catering and his team for their hard work in transcribing the 43 page document from the government into a practical, safe and lawful set of guidelines that are workable within the Club’s infrastructure in such a short space of time.
